Falling off the wagon happens to the best of us and although it might not be perfect, it’s not the end of the world either. It’s how you recover from it that really matters. If you go totally off piste with your eating, try not to worry. Try to figure out why it happened in the first place.
Was it that you were being really restrictive and your body needed more nutrients? In this case go back to the Standard Food Plan and make sure you are getting the right amounts of nutrients at the right times.
Was it a stressful event that triggered comfort eating? In this case go back to practising the mindful eating exercise and thinking about how to handle cravings.
